JOB TITLE: RN Practitioner â€" Psychiatry Position Purpose Provides exceptional care to patients as a primary care provider in consultation and collaboration with the attending physician or Medical Director. As an advanced practitioner, s/he is involved in consultation and education to the organization, its employees and the community. The performance of functions that constitue total medical management of patients is subject ot the supervision, quality control, and approval of the attending physician and/or Medical Director.The RN practitioner collaborates with the physician in managing care for patients and families along the continuum of care.
Responsibilities Exceptional care to patients throughout CSM in a variety of clinical areas depending on specialty and need. In some specialty areas, the RN practitioner may be responsibile for the health and protection of CSM employees. Qualifications â€"â€"Master of Science degree in Nursing with focus on preparation for the role of nurse practitioner â€"â€"Current RN licensure in the State of Wisconsin â€"â€"Healthcare Provider CPR by the American Heart Association â€"â€"Current certification to issue prescriptive orders in the State of WI (APNP) â€"â€"Current certification by a national certifying board approved by the WI Board of Nursing â€"â€"Current Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration â€"â€"National Provider Identification number â€"â€"Valid WI Drivers License if applicable â€"â€"National certification in area of specialty (preferred) We invite you to join us where service excellence and quality of care to our patients go hand and hand!
