Post by Jobing - Job Title: Nurse Practitioner â€" Psychiatry Requisition Number: 11â€"00018 Location: TC Behavioral Healthâ€"Midway Department: FTE: 0.5â€"1.0 Shift: Days Schedule: Mâ€"F, 1 night of call per week Apply By Date: Job Description: Under the general direction of the collaborating physician, the Nurse Practitioner provides primary care services, including inpatient, outpatient or consultation services to patients with psychiatric illnesses. 1. Provides inpatient, outpatient and/or consultative services to patients with psychiatric illness. 2.
Provides consultation to primary care, therapists and/or other providers in the community (e.g., teachers, probation officers, etc.). 3. Maintains all documentation and billing according to departmental and regulatory standards. 4.
Acts as a resource for clinical staff. 5. Maintains an efficient workflow. 6.
Takes responsibility for own professional growth and development. 7. Participates in performance review and personal development planning. Would prefer candidate to be fullâ€"time, but would consider partâ€"time if necessary.
Position is located at Theda Care Behavioral Health on Midway Rd in Menasha, WI. Job Qualifications: Experience: Prefer 1â€"2 years previous experience in a behavioral health setting as a nurse practitioner. Education: Graduate from an NLN accredited Master?s Program in Nursing with a focus in Psychiatry Mental Health a plus. Licensure/Certification: Current RN License to practice in the State of Wisconsin and certification as a APNP/Advanced Practice Nurse Prescriber.
Must be board certified Psychiatry Nurse Practitioner. Current certification by the ANCC/as an APRNâ€"PMH/Advanced Practice Registered Nurse in Psychiatric Mental Health a plus. Complete Application
