Medical Director

Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin

Description: StaffingForce is at present recruited Medical Director right now, this position will be settled in Wisconsin. For detail informations about this position opportunity kindly read the description below. Requirements:

• Requires a MD or DO (Doctor of Osteopathy) from an accredited medical school and board certification in psychiatry by the Board of Psychiatry and Neurology
• B! oard certification by the American Board of Quality Assurance and Utilization Review Physicians is preferred

Must possess:

• Medical license to practice independently in the state(s) where employed (i.e., current and unrestricted medical license in psychiatry or osteopathy)
• At least five years of post-residency clinical practice with at least two years managed mental health care experience

Responsibilities:

• Medical Director oversees the medical utilization and review process
• Provides clinical supervision to Peer Advisors and collaboration with Care Managers and Clinical Supervisors
• Ensures the organizational objective to have qualified clinicians accountable for decisions affecting members/consumers
• Develops/Implements policies and procedures
• Coordination of the Director of Clinical Operations, Director of Quality Management and the Corporate Medical Director
• Pr! ovides input into corporate-wide policies, procedures, protoco! ls, criteria and guidelines through the Clinical Policy Standards committee
• Manages the Peer Advisors (as assigned) and the review process to ensure quality and consistent application of policies and protocols
