Description: University of Wisconsin - Madison is currently seeking to employ Postdoctoral fellow - neurobiology of pediatric PTSD right now, this job will be designated in Wisconsin. A postdoctoral fellow position studying the neurobiology of pediatric post-traumatic stress disorder ( PTSD ! ) is available in the Herringa Lab ( http://herringalab.psychiatry.wisc.edu/ ) within the Department of Psychiatry ( http://www.psychiatry.wisc.edu/uwpHeri.html ) at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. The Herringa Lab is conducting neuroimaging studies of pediatric PTSD to identify alterations in prefrontal-subcortical connectivity, and how successful treatments may restore resiliency in this circuitry. Candidates must have prior experience in psychology or neuroscience, and functional imaging data acquisition and analysis. The successful candidate will look to gain additional experience in clinical populations, and will be part of a world-renowned neuroimaging community including the HealthEmotions Research Institute and Waisman Laboratory for Brain Imaging and Behavior.

Evidence of experience in peer-reviewed publication is desirable. Relevant imaging modalities include MRI , EEG , PET , MEG , NIRS and TMS . Experience with common n! euroimaging data analysis platforms, such as FSL , SPM and AFN! I and with behavioral task programming using E-prime is a plus. Preference is given to candidates with an unrestricted right to work in the US.
