The Support Specialist performs secretarial and unit clerical coordination services and various patient care activities. This is a great opportunity to work with a multi-disciplinary team including: Psychologists, Psychiatrists, RN’s and Social Workers.
Our Support Specialists excel in:
Clerical duty including but not limited to sorting and distributing mail, mainting file systems, and answering and directing telephone calls.
Assisting with Patient care including but not limited to monitoring and reinforcing behavior, patient chart audits, and accompanying patients to groups and activities.
Being an advocate for our patients !
Education and Experience Requirements:
WI ! CNA certification
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Previous psychiatric experience with children, adolescents and adults is preferred

Required Skills
1. Certified Nursing Assistant certification is required upon hire or completion of one (1) year of nurses'' training. If certified by the State of Wisconsin at the time of hire, CNA must be in -good standing'' with the Wisconsin State Board of Certified Nursing Assistant Registry
Required Experience
1. High school graduate, or equivalent, is required.
2. Bachelor degree in human services-related field is preferred.
3. Must be eighteen (18) years of age, or older.
4. Minimum of two (2) years of direct, related experience in a psychiatric facility with children, adolescents and/or adults preferred.
5. A valid, Wisconsin drivers license is prefer! red; may be required to have driving record approved by Rogers Memorial Hospital insurance carrier.
6. American Heart Association Healthcare Provider CPR certification or American Red Cross Professional Rescue is required within thirty (30) days of date of hire. Annual re-certification is required.
7.Formal training in management of the aggressive patient is required within sixty (60) days of date of hire. Annual re-certification is required.
