Purpose

Work under the direction of the Program Medical Director, Principle Investigator, or Clinical Program Coordinator III to coordinate the day-to-day administrative activities of a state-funded chi ld psychiatry access program. The Wisconsin Child Psychiatry Consultation Program (CPCP) program provides child and adolescent mental and behavioral health expertise to enrolled primary care providers through email and telephone consultations. The Clinical Program Coordinator I will provide the necessary support to the project team as it works towards completing the goals as set forth in the program’s annual work plan.The program’s annual work plan is dynamic and the duties of this position may evolve over the course of the program year as experience is gained and the needs of the program’s new 18 county Northeast Region - headquartered in Appleton, WI - are assessed.

Primary Functions

  • Work closely with the Program Medical Director and Clinical Program Coordinator III to complete the activities within the annual work plan including collecting, analyzing, and disseminating program/grant data.

  • Work under the direction of the C linical Program Coordinator III to enroll primary care providers. Duties may include: initiate/respond to clinical practices and invite them to enroll in the program; organize and lead enrollment meetings as well as annual check-in meetings at clinic sites with primary care providers, clinic managers, and support staff; promote and track educational module completion prior to enrollment; complete all necessary documentation and database requirements.

  • Collaborate on the development of program materials including educational materials, marketing materials, websites, forms, and reports.

  • Work with program leaders to develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive REDcap data files related to the program. Perform quality assurance review of data captured via REDCap.

  • Maintain program timeline including tracking deadlines for program components.

  • Report program data and progress to program stakeholders as necessary.

  • Participate on appropriate committees relevant to the advancement of the program and the profession.

Position Requirements:

Knowledge â€" Skills â€" Abilities

Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential to this position. Strong critical thinking, problem solving, independent decision making, and attentiveness to detail are also required. Strong computer skills are necessary, e.g. MS Office Suite. Ability to understand th e primary care clinical setting and how to effectively engage busy primary care providers and support staff is advantageous. Prior knowledge of REDCap is beneficial. Knowledge of program area community mental and behavioral health resources is beneficial.

Minimum Required Education: Bachelor's degree

Minimum Required Experience: 1 year of experience in program coordination within a medical, research, or educational environment.

Preferred Education: Bachelor’s Degree

Preferred Experience: 2 years of experience in program coordination within a medical, research, or educational environment.
