Our main office is located in Paço de Arcos, in the Lisbon/Oeiras area.Reporting to the Finance Director, Enrico Piciucchi, the Financial Controller will be a proactive business partner supporting the various departments of the company, monitoring actuals, managing planning and forecasting to define short, medium and long-term goals, supporting the evaluation of investments and M&A through business case analysis What will you do?

- Interact with accounting for financial month closing activities while conducting regular FP&A processes such as GL research and variance analysis vs budget/prior year/forecast
- Prepare and submit Group Reporting
- Drive the annual budget process and support on the preparation of critical monthly forecast meetings and quarterly business progress meetings
- Business KPI's co-pilot for CFO and GM, identifies trends and translates data into clear, actionable insights and recommendations
- Overall Business contribution for our P&L shape, responsible to monitor and highlight main changes and to proactively suggest for business improvements.
- Economic and financial analyses (P&L/Balance Sheet/Cash flow), Business Case evaluations for new shop openings/refurbishments and ad hoc projects
- Close collaboration with Sales Director and Marketing Director for business tracking, detecting risks and opportunities and challenging the position of our financial and economic performance
- Support the implementation of the new IT system from a finance perspective
What experience is ideal?
- Degree in Finance / Accounting / Economics
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar function
- Fluency in English language. Command of Portuguese would be beneficial
