We are seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and ensuring that all payments are made in a timely manner. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to develop their accounting skills and join a dynamic team.
Responsibilities:
- Process invoices and payments in a timely manner.
- Reconcile accounts payable transactions.
- Research and resolve discrepancies in vendor accounts.
- Maintain vendor files and records.
- Prepare and process check runs and wire transfers.
- Prepare journal entries and reconcile general ledger accounts.
- Assist with month-end closing procedures.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $22.00 - $23.00 per hour
