The Department of Pediatrics at Gundersen Health System is seeking a 0.8-1.0 FTE li! censed psychologist (or license-eligible in Wisconsin) in clinical or school psychology to provide comprehensive evaluations of children. The candidate should be willing to work with children of all ages. The candidate will function as part of a team in the Learning and Developmental Diagnostic Clinic (LDDC). LDDC takes a multidisciplinary approach to the qualitative evaluation and differential diagnosis of children with learning challenges, neurological impairments, behavioral problems, vision and hearing impairments, inattention and autism spectrum disorders. Psychometry support is available and an integral part of the assessment. Other specialists on the LDDC team include pediatricians, a medical geneticist, psychiatry, clinical social workers, speech and language pathologists, occupational therapists, a pediatric neurologist, audiologists, ophthalmologists and optometrists, physical therapists and others as needed.

The Department of Pediatrics consists of a gro! up of general pediatricians, pediatric subspecialists and asso! ciate staff. In addition to the LDDC, our pediatric specialty areas include allergy/asthma/immunology, behavioral health, cardiology, critical care, dentistry, developmental pediatrics, gastroenterology, genetics, hematology/oncology, neonatology, nephrology, surgery, neurology, physical medicine and rehabilitation, ophthalmology, and orthopaedic surgery. Pediatric inpatients are cared for on a 12 bed inpatient ward, 18 bed Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and 4 bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit.
