The University Health Services (UHS), Counseling and Consultation Services (C&CS), University of Wisconsin (UW)-Madison has an opening for a Director of Psychiatric Services.! Under the direction of the Director of Mental Health, the Director of Psychiatry Services is responsible for providing oversight of Psychiatric services within C&CS. Duties include supervision and teaching of resident physicians and medical students, or managerial responsibilities for other staff providers. Candidates for this position must qualify for a clinical track appointment as assistant or associate professor (depending on qualification) in a department in the UW School of Medicine. Competitive college health service salary negotiable depending on experience and qualifications.
UHS requires an individual with a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) in Psychiatry. Must be license or license eligible as a physician to practice in the state of Wisconsin. Board certification in psychiatry or board eligible candidates must become board certified within 12-months of hire.
