Description: State of Wisconsin is currently seeking to employ Psychiatrist Management right now, this position will be settled in Wisconsin. Detailed specification about this position opportunity please read the description below. Under the direction and supervision of the Medical Director, the Deputy Medical Director is in charge of all clinical units programs. Duties include: supervising all psychiatrists in t! he program and other clinical positions; working with each of the clinical teams to oversee the clinical treatment services in conjunction with the unit managers; performing direct service activities with selected patients/units, providing consultation, and coordinating psychiatric coverage, in conjunction with the Medical Director; performing various training, research, program evaluation, and other functions as assigned; and assisting the Program Director in managing the overall functioning of the Program and carrying out duties and responsibilities as assigned in this capacity. This position serves as the Institute Medical Director in her/his absence or as assigned.

Job ! Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :
Knowledge of Nationa! l Commission on Correctional Health Care (NCCHC) standards and Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) regulations, Division of Quality Assurance (DQA) regulations; appropriate medications and treatment of psychiatric disorders; appropriate assessment consultation methods; short and long-range planning techniques; general budgeting principles and practices in state government; methods of used to monitor and evaluate the quality and appropriateness of patient care; performance planning and evaluation techniques for medical and clinical staff; safety and security issues in a health care environment; program evaluation principles and application; public relations principles and techniques; psychiatric/medical services required for a mental health facility. Skill in the development and implementation of policies and procedures; time management; written and oral communication. Public speaking ability.
Well qualified applicants will have at least 3 years of Psyc! hiatric practice within a correctional setting.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Possession of a license to practice medicine in the State of Wisconsin plus a minimum of 3 years in an approved residency in Psychiatry. Must be board certified in general Psychiatry.
Starting salary will be between $150,864 per year ($72.253 per hour) and $196,276 per year ($94.002 per hour), plus a supplemental pay add-on between $10.650 and $21.270 per hour for Board Certification, and an additional pay add-on for management/supervisory responsibility of up to $21.060 per hour, plus excellent benefits. The pay schedule-range is 50-52. A 12-month probationary period may be required.
