Marshfield Clinic Community Resources offers various social work services that focus on meeting the psychosocial needs of patients and families served throughout the Marshfield Clinic system. Social work staff serves as a link to p! atients, families and providers to obtain necessary community ! services.. Patients and families served through Marshfield Clinic have access to outpatient social work services to assist them in navigating resources and services related to their health care needs.
The primary responsibilities of the Advanced Practice Social Worker (APSW) include care coordination, intake screening, and providing evaluation and treatment to patients in the form of individual, marital, family and group therapy in the Clinic, as well as, participating in evaluation, diagnosis and development of treatment plans for patients. Supervision will be provided by LCSW, Clinical Psychologist, or Psychiatrist. These services are provided according to the philosophy and practice objectives established by Marshfield Clinic, which reflect a commitment to customer focus, people orientation, system integration and financial stability.
