Licensed Practical Nurse Clinic-Psychiatry

Description: Riverview Hospital Association is at the momment seeking for Licensed Practical Nurse Clinic-Psychiatry right now, this job will be designated in Wisconsin. The Licensed Practical Nurse assists physicians and performs various care procedures, provides patient education and follow-up commu! nication, and insures infection control and resource management needs are met in the nursing area.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
Completion of one year technical training in an accredited nursing program and eligible for LPN licensure. At least 2 years recent work experience as LPN, ideally in the clinic setting, preferred. Knowledge of caring for patients across the life span (adult medical and surgical, geriatric medical, pediatric medical and neonate) which is evidenced by completion of orientation and annual competency requirements. Licensed by the State of Wisconsin as a LPN. Must maintain license.
Must attain and maintain CPR and AED certification.
EXPERIENCE & SPECIAL SKILLS:
Able to perform all treatments and procedures of the job (see item A under Specific Responsibilities). Basic computer operation skills (keyboard and mouse use, Internet browser use, opening and closing programs). Able to process e-mail (read, send, delete, f! ile).
